Temple Epoxy Flooring is a concrete coatings and polished concrete contractor based in Temple, Texas. We have been installing epoxy, polyaspartic and resinous floor systems in this part of Central Texas for more than twenty years, across residential garages, commercial kitchens, clinics, service bays, warehouses and pool decks.
Most of what we know about this trade we learned by being called back to look at other people’s floors. That has shaped how we work more than any product training ever did, because the failures are remarkably consistent and almost none of them are about the resin.
Our Approach

We start underneath. Before we quote, we establish what your slab sits on and how wet it is, because roughly a third of this city is high-plasticity shrink-swell clay and about half of it is not, and those two conditions need genuinely different specifications rather than one price applied to both. On an older slab, moisture testing is written into the scope rather than sold as an add-on after a floor blisters.
Every slab we coat is opened mechanically, by diamond grinding or shot blasting. We do not acid etch and we do not coat over an existing sealer, because a bond to a closed or contaminated surface is the single most common reason a floor releases. The proposal you receive names the product, the system build and the mil thickness, so what was quoted can be checked against what was installed.
We are also direct about the limits. A coating is a film bonded to concrete and it follows the concrete exactly, so it will not stop or bridge seasonal ground movement. Where a crack is still moving we treat it as a live joint rather than filling it rigid and coating over it, and we tell you before the work starts that it may telegraph again. Warranty exclusions, substrate movement and moisture first among them, are explained before the job is sold rather than discovered afterwards.
Texas does not license flooring contractors, so there is no license number for anyone in this trade to show you. Instead of implying a credential that does not exist, we show the documents that do: general liability cover, workers’ compensation, a Texas sales and use tax permit and our City of Temple contractor registration.
Scheduling follows the same logic. We work to the temperature of the slab rather than the calendar, which is why we start mid-morning in summer instead of at dawn, when the concrete is often colder than the air and holding condensation nobody can see. For landlords we work to a vacancy window, where durability and turnaround decide the specification rather than appearance.
What We Do
We install epoxy garage floors, polished concrete flooring, polyaspartic floor coatings, metallic and flake epoxy systems, and commercial resinous floors. We also carry out concrete resurfacing, concrete grinding and coating removal, concrete driveway coatings, pool deck resurfacing and epoxy floor repair, including diagnosing and rebuilding floors installed by somebody else.
If you would like a written proposal that names the system and the build rather than a square-foot figure over the phone, get in touch and we will come and look at the concrete.
